LISBON - A law aimed at stimulating haven for child passengers take full effect Wednesday meaning supervising agency may issue tickets to drivers who fail to use booster seats for children 4 to under 8 years or less than 4 feet 9 inches high on legs.
"I am very happy because we have seen so far too many children between the ages of 4 and 8 with internal injuries. The amount of injury, dehydration because of it, "Jacki DaLonzo, director of injury prevention for the form Columbiana County Department said Monday.
DaLonzo has been promoting use of booster seats for years as a way to treat children after they leave the seats required child safety, but now there is a law to implement this awkward correct that she said.
The booster seat law requires the application of secondary agents essential law enforcement can not enforce the law unless they have shot a motorist for another violation of transportation, such as
speeding. The new law combines with the law on child safety seats available.
