ARLINGTON - With his baby mask and deer-in-the-headlights eyes, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning looks inoffensive. But more often than not, facing him has been a harrowing experience for the Dallas Cowboys .
In 15 craft meetings with the Cowboys, Manning has completed more than 60 percent of his passes for 3,506 yards, (250.4 yards per prepared), 28 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. In leading the Giants to a 37-34 win over Dallas on Dec. 11, Manning passed for 400 yards, two TDs and one interception without being sacked.
Manning has thrown for 300 yards or more and at least two TDs in four of his former five games against Dallas. He has more TDs and 300-yard games (five) against the Cowboys than any other work together. He's 9-6 against Dallas all-time, winning six of his last eight.
So how are the Cowboys going to terminal him in the winner-take-all prime-time clash Sunday in the Meadowlands?
"I have no principle," cornerback Terence Newman said after Saturday's 20-7 depletion to Philadelphia.
