Baby due in a month! What kind of car seat?! Convertible/infant/travel system?!?

Question: There's so many kinds... it's frustrating. I'm also operating from germany back to the States when the baby is 3 months old. So would a stroller be a must-have, or is a baby launch good enough? Advice on that is much appreciated also.

Mine prefers his throw, but you do need to be careful and follow instructions for newborns. Frame sure they aren't curled like a 'C'. As for car seats, we went with Sunshine Kids Radian 65's from day one.

Answer: I don't identify what Europe is like, but in Australia a buggy Board makes using trade transport virtually impossible as it prevents you from getting the pram onto buses and trains undoubtedly (buggy boards have VERY small wheels that get stuck every where)
